"Voices from the Sidewalks" is an art project that focuses on the creation of a series of oil paintings that are born from conversations with individuals who spend most of their time on the streets, whose experiences are often overlooked.
In contrast to the traditional history of oil portraiture, which glorifies kings, politicians, and other aristocratic figures, this project seeks to give a voice to those who are rarely heard or recognized in society.
Through painting, this proyect aims to reveal the humanity and beauty of these marginalized lives, creating a counterpart to what the history of art shows us, where the elite has always been a priority. And at the same time, it gives visibility and seeks a dignified space for the silenced voices of the streets.
